Is "Hate" Bad According to the Law of Attraction?

Is "Hate" Bad According to the Law of Attraction?

When you first learn about the principles of the Law of Attraction, it seems like being anything other than 100% positive and happy all of the time is a bad thing. Because if you think "bad" thoughts, then you will attract bad things to you, right?

The real answer is... nope! LOA is more complex than that - and so are emotions.

To Vilify Your Emotions Keeps You Stuck in Them

When you resist your honest emotions like anger and try to "be positive" instead, what you are actually doing is gaslighting yourself. You are trying to force yourself into feeling a different way than you do because you think it will make you feel happier and won't manifest anymore of those nasty, naughty emotions, but it doesn't quite work this way.

This is because the powerless, angry aspect of you will resist your feelings of positivity because the anger needs to be heard.

Anger feels more powerful than sadness because it focuses the feelings of powerlessness from something internal (this is all my fault) to something external (this is all your fault). And if you look at the emotional guidance scale, anger is actually higher up on the scale than sadness.

So this aspect of you that you are trying to reject is, at some level, trying to keep you safe. It can't see other, more empowered perspectives from its current standpoint so it is trying to do what it can to help.

So when looking at it from this perspective, anger isn't a bad thing. It's a natural step up in the process of personal empowerment, and it really trying to help you the best that it can.

Making Peace with Your Anger Is the First Step to Healing It

So in order get rid of your anger and work yourself up towards a more empowered emotion, instead of rejecting your rage, you need to embrace it.

Give that angry aspect of you some compassion and let it out inside your head (click here to learn how to have a healthy anger release). What is it that you are really feeling? What is it that you wish you could say or do in the moment? Remember that your anger is a natural part of you and, though it can feel volatile in the moment, allowing it to express itself to you will allow it to feel heard and can then fully clear.
