This Is the Best Diet According to the Law of Attraction

text that reads, "This Is the Best Diet According to the Law of Attraction"

*Note: I'm not a doctor or a dietician, this is just my personal opinion based on my own experience and other's experiences around the energy of food.

What is the best diet?

What is the best diet for your body? Is it vegetarian? Vegan? Raw foods, paleo? Was Robert Atkins right all along?

Surprise! There is no "best" diet - aside from the one that you believe is the best.

Does that mean I can eat anything I want?

Want and current beliefs are not always the same thing. If you want to eat a diet of nothing but chocolate and fries but believe that they make you gain weight and feel sick, then you're going to manifest the latter.

Where I come from, we have a strong belief that vegetables and fruits are the best foods for you, and bread is the enemy. Thus, for most people, it manifests into their reality that if they eat their veggies they stay slim and trim but if the eat grains then they gain weight.

But what if you want to be able to eat grains and chocolate and feel energized and slim? How do you change your limiting beliefs about food?

Reframing Food: Food Is Energy

The first step to releasing your limiting beliefs around food is to redefine what food is, and what our bodies are capable of handling.

Your body is amazingly strong and powerful and is capable of handling a lot. So much so that we humans can willingly drink something that is technically poisonous to our bodies (alcohol) and be okay the next day.

In thinking about that, your body is really strong. It can handle a lot more than we tend to think that it can. It will pull nutrients out of whatever you put into it.

With this, you can reframe food as just being energy for your body. Take the villainous components out of food (like saying "this food is bad"), and view any food you consume as just giving your body some fuel to carry out its tasks for the day.

The Best LOA Diet: Intuitive Eating

So with this "food is just energy" stance, what is the "best" diet? The diet I have found that I believe resonates the best with LOA is the intuitive diet.

With this diet you don't count calories or restrict any food groups. For this diet, you simply ask yourself, "what do I want to eat?" and then allow yourself to eat it.

People tend to get tripped up on the allowing part, especially if what they are craving are foods like hamburgers and chocolate.

And if you are someone that severely restricts themselves from eating what it is that you want, the craving for these things will be stronger and may last a couple of days.

But when you finally allow yourself to eat what you want, from a place of total self-acceptance and trust of your body, then the cravings naturally die down. You find that your body will get tired of only craving sweet or carbs, and you'll find yourself naturally gravitating towards other foods, because your body is very smart and knows how to guide you toward what it needs.

If you've ever had a time when you're craving something random like peaches and they taste like the best thing ever, but the next day that you lose any interest in them, that is an example of responding to your bodily intuition and giving it what it needs.

I've been doing intuitive eating for several years, and as a personal example I spent a whole summer once eating an avocado every single day until one day, I just didn't want them anymore. My body needed something in the avocados and once it had what it needed, it let me know that it was done by making me lose my craving for it.

Do You Trust Your Body?

So to summarize this blog post, the most important thing ti creating a healthy diet is not to eat one particular way, but to make friends with your body and trust it to guide you towards what it needs.

If you have a lot of limiting beliefs around your body and view it as an enemy, you may need to some (or a lot) of emotional releases around this so you can become friends. Being friends with your body and trusting your body is one of the most fulfilling relationships you can have. Start cultivating that friendship as soon as you can.
