Is Your Perfectionism Holding You Back from Successful Manifesting?

Perfectionism is a double-edged sword in the Law of Attraction

As a self-described perfectionist, something I have noticed within myself and other members of the LOA community is how perfectionism can actually prevent you from manifesting your dreams.

Perfectionists tend to love LOA when they first encounter it because the idea of thinking positive and then manifesting something gives them an easy-to-see cause and effect process. Focus on your desires, do it "right", and you will get your desired outcome.

It is a lot like grades, for instance. If you focus on getting a A, study really hard and take the right actions, then you will the grade you want.

But unlike with grades, LOA is sometimes more difficult to use than just studying really hard. Perfectionism can be a double-edged sword when applying it to LOA, because when you don't immediately manifest what you want, you can easily go into self-blame.

And that self-blame vibration of perfectionism is fear-based. It stems from the limiting belief that something is wrong with you or that you are not good enough (you are not "perfect"), so left unchecked your actions then stem from the energy of "I'm not good enough" and reflect that belief back to you in your reality.

It can be difficult to leave this energy because there is a pervasive belief within the LOA community that you have to do LOA perfectly all of the time, otherwise you won't manifest what you want!

So how do you let go of the fear of not practicing LOA perfectly while still trying to practice manifestation techniques?

The Fear of Manifesting Something "Wrong" Is a Limiting Belief

The trick is to realizing that it is okay not to do LOA perfectly. Needing to do LOA perfectly is a limiting belief itself.

Even Abraham-Hicks doesn't expect you to think 100% positively 100% of the time. They say that as long as your thoughts are 51% positive, the things you want in your life will start to come to you.

There is a big difference between knowing the theory of LOA and then applying it into your life.

To be frank about it, we are in a revolutionary spiritual age. It is only been within the past few years that people are starting to try to fully take all of their actions from a place of inspiration.

It is really hard to hold the vibration of positivity and inspired action perfectly. It's okay. You are doing it as perfectly as you possibly can.

It's also okay to take action when you're not 110% inspired. If an idea of doing something sounds exciting to you but you're still unsure, that's okay. Go for it. You can start taking action towards your dreams and work through the limiting beliefs as they come up. You don't have to clear all of your limiting beliefs beforehand.

So if you're worried about manifesting something "imperfect", it is okay. Chances are you will, because everybody does. The difference is that with LOA, you get to look at that manifestation and learn from it on how to manifest what you DO want. Your manifestation is just feedback to your current vibration, not the "truth" that you are wrong or somehow imperfect.

You're doing everything right as perfectly as you can.
